Goth My Room!

My room (even though it's shared with my sisters) is an expression of myself. From the dark bed covers to the extravagant decorations.

I will show you how to DIY your room into a gothic haven. To start you don't have to paint your wall black or anything, but if your parents let you good on ya'.

I suggest start with a basic black bed cover and maybe an interesting blanket (my blanket is the band The Misfits symbol).

Cover your wall with morbid photos and deck your room with posters of your favourite movies, bands etc.

Find interesting gothic bits and bobs like my Skull friend above, also dried/dead roses look dramatic.

Don't be afraid to look childish have a large display of teddies. I have heaps like; my Vampire Bear called Fang, my hand-knitted bear Vladimir, my black cat Mystery and my little vampire The Count.

Start a gothic collection and display it! Bones or rubber spiders are great to collect. And that leads me into a DIY!

To make the Spider Web Dreamcatcher that my spider collection is displayed on you will need:

• Wire

• Pliers

• Black Wool

1. Mold the wire into a web shape

2. Wrap black wool around the web shape.

3. String black wool through the shape to create a web appearence.

4. When you're happy with that decorate with SPIDERS!!!
